Superbude St. Pauli is the budget hotel that feels like a design project. S-Bahn trains from the main station take about fifteen minutes, and the U-Bahn and S-Bahn connect quickly to the Landungsbrücken, the harbour and the city centre. It is a lively, young area with lots of affordable places to eat.

The rooms and who it suits: the smallest doubles are compact, so pick a standard or maxi double if you want more space.
